ABOUT FITMALAYSIA
Directed by Kementerian Belia dan Sukan (KBS), FitMalaysia aims to facilitate the adoption of healthy lifestyles amongst all Malaysians. It is also part of the ministry's aspiration to make a Malaysia a true sporting nation – a springboard to cultivate sporting success on the global playfield.
THE MISSION
Our mission is to facilitate community participation in a variety of sports and fitness activities. We aim to empower you with the right activities and expertise so that fitness isn’t just an end goal but ultimately a lifestyle choice.
THE PHILOSOPHY
Sedentary lifestyles are the reality today. Changing them is not easy and the first step is the hardest to take. FitMalaysia aims to make the process painless, fast and fun for all Malaysians, so that the country can gradually evolve into a true sporting nation.
THE BELIEF
Everybody wants to look good, feel good and be healthy. However barriers of access and lifestyle need to be overcome. Today, most people are aware of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, but are put off by their own hectic schedules, difficulty in finding facilities and likeminded people to exercise and play with. FitMalaysia believes in removing these barriers so all Malaysians can achieve their health and fitness goals.

To make Malaysia a fit, sporting nation. FitMalaysia is the springboard,
with a clear roadmap that will inspire Malaysians to achieve
excellence-in sports and in life.

THE MAN AT THE HELM
Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar
Minister of Youth and Sports
FitMalaysia is the brainchild of Khairy Jamaluddin, the Malaysian Minister for Youth and Sports, second-term Member of Parliament for Rembau, Leader of UMNO Youth and the Chairman of Barisan Nasional Youth.
Prior to his career in politics, he has had a rich and varied employment history, ranging from investment banking to commanding the 508 Regiment of the Malaysian reserve army with the rank of Colonel.
As a life-long fan of football, he has been involved in the game at many levels and was formerly a deputy president of the Football Association of Malaysia.
